Man takes Joyride on a car’s hood

Elton Kim told police he saw a woman back into his wife’s SUV in the parking lot outside of his dry cleaning business and went outside to confront her. Kim stood in front of the woman’s car, which had Alabama plates, and she accelerated into him.

He jumped on the hood and the woman took off driving for nearly two miles before he was able to get off at a red light. A passing motorist recorded cellphone footage of the man clinging to the woman’s car.

Authorities say the woman fled the scene and will be charged with aggravated assault if they find her. Theresa Kim said she couldn’t understand why the woman would flee since the accident wasn’t so bad. Police are searching for the woman who now faces a multitude of charges.
